The Huawei Blaze is a sumptuous handset which delivers impressive functionality combined with smart phone technology, which is powered by a 600 MHz processor and the gingerbread version of the android operating system. The unit itself is a compact and lightweight unit which has dimensions of 110 mm x 56 mm wide whilst being 11 mm thick and weighing 104 g in weight.

The unit comes with a 3.2 inch TFT capacitive touch screen, which displays impressive imagery by virtue of the fact it displays up to 16 million colours within a 320 x 480 pixel screen resolution. The unit comes with ring and vibration alert options, loudspeaker and 3.5 mm Jack as well as offering accelerometer and proximity sensors.

In terms of memory capacity the handset comes with 512 MB internal memory capacity with the opportunity to utilise the available Micro SD card slot to enhance this by utilising relevant cards, up to 32 GB. The unit comes with Internet access which is provided by either its own 3G connection or alternatively the Wi Fi option, with the additional benefit of being able to create a Wi Fi hotspot. In terms of additional functionality the handset comes with an FM radio, an MP4/MP3 multimedia player which is able to actively play a wide range of file formats, whilst also offering a 3.15 megapixel camera which operates at a resolution of 2048 x 1530 pixels and includes autofocus as standard whilst also providing the opportunity to record video. The unit also comes with a secondary camera. The handset provides an organiser, document viewer, photo viewer/editor as well as predictive text input functionality in addition to a voice memo function and a range of Google related features which include search, maps and Gmail.
