Nail art designs can be very simple and incorporate things such as dots and flicks to create patterns like paw prints, simple flowers or tiger stripes. These easy to pick up techniques provide your clients with something fun on their nails to brighten up their day or if they want something different on their nails for a party or themed event.
There are also embedded designs where you can utilise such media as skeleton leaves, millie fiore, dried flowers and flower sprays, crushed shells, bullion beads, flatstones, and silver rings, to enhance your designs and offer your clients a design that will stay for up to six weeks looking as perfect as when you first applied it. You can infill embedded designs without any trouble. This means clients do not have to worry about paying for a new set of nails at each appointment and as a bonus, embedded designs can be painted over, giving your clients at least two different looks for parties and the office in between maintenance appointments. In addition, you can embed most products during a rebalance appointment rather than removing the nails completely to start again. The use of white tips and clear tips can make the design even more stunning. For example, when your client can turn her hands palm side up and see the design through clear tips, this adds an expensive designer touch to her overall look.

Intricate designs and designs that aren't necessarily made for wearing everyday can be shown off in the salon. Some designs can take hours of hard work but are worth doing to show your clients and peers alike your artistic skills.
